      Dear Applicant,

Please refer to https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/diversity-visa/instructions.html for detailed information on eligibility requirements before you appear for your interview.
DV applicants worldwide will be disqualified (application fees are non-refundable) if any one of the following apply to the principal applicant:

      • You do not have at least a high school education or its equivalent, or two years of work experience within the past five years in an occupation that requires at least two years of training or experience to perform.

      • English translations are not required for the documents in Turkish, except for the court documents of any conviction.
      • You should not make permanent financial commitments, such as selling your house, car or property, resigning from your job or making non-refundable flight or other travel arrangements until you have received your immigrant visa.
      • If KCC requested scanned copies of your documents before scheduling your appointment, please make sure to bring exactly the same documents you electronically submitted to KCC, including all the originals and translations.
      • Please read the online instructions to ensure you are eligible for the visa and prepared for the interview: https://tr.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/visa-packages-forms/
      Documents to bring with you
      • Diversity Visa application fee: please bring exact change in the amount of $330 U.S. dollars per applicant. Please note that you can pay in TL or U.S. dollars. Exact change will be greatly appreciated.

We are pleased to proceed with the processing of your Diversity Immigrant Visa application. Instructions on how to schedule your interview are listed below.

Please note the DV-2020 Program expires on September 30, 2020. This means the entire process must be completed, application approved, and visa issued on or before September 30, 2020. As part of the in-person interview, the consular officer will ensure you have submitted all required forms and documents; confirm you paid any outstanding fees to the consular section’s cashier; review your medical records; and determine your eligibility for the visa.

Also note that your visa validity is tied to the medical exam expiration date; typically six months from the date the exam was conducted. Diversity Visa holders’ entry into the United States, however, is currently suspended under Presidential Proclamation 10014 (PP10014). This proclamation is scheduled to expire on December 31, 2020 but can be extended. In the meantime, please do not make plans to travel to the United States until a time when you know PP10014 is no longer in effect and your visa is still valid, unless your visa is annotated as having been issued pursuant to an exception to any applicable Proclamation(s). Please monitor travel.state.gov for the latest information on PP10014. In addition, the regional COVID-related Presidential Proclamations (PP 9984, 9992, 9993, 9996, and 10041) remain in effect and DV applicants therefore also remain subject to those Proclamations. This means we will be unable to issue visas to those physically present in China, Iran, Schengen Zone, UK, Ireland, or Brazil within 14 days of visa adjudication.

Due to COVID-19 security and medical protocols currently in place at the U.S. Embassy – Ankara, all individuals wishing to access the facility, including consular clients, must demonstrate that they have been physically present in Turkey for at least 14 days before they can access the facility (Embassy Security officials and Medical officials have determined that the PCR or other testing is not an acceptable alternative to the 14 day requirement). If you are currently outside of Turkey, you must arrive in Turkey no later than Wednesday, September 15

in order to be able to have your appointment scheduled before the end of the DV-2020 Program year.

To schedule your appointment, please visit our contractor’s website: https://ais.usvisa-info.com/. Log in to your account and click on "Group Actions" and then click on "Schedule Appointment.” You will then be able to select an appointment date from the calendar. Please schedule one appointment slot per case under the principal applicant's name. If there are derivative spouse and children in the case, we will add their names to the appointment list for them to enter the Embassy on the interview date.

After you schedule your appointment, you will receive another email which will provide detailed information on the required documents you need to bring to your interview and questions you need to answer by email before your interview. Please read these instructions thoroughly as failure to do so could delay the processing of your visa. Please make sure to send the answers to the questions one day prior to your appointment and bring all the documents with you on your interview date.

If you are a non-Turkish citizen, you will need to provide proof of either your Turkish residency or your entry into Turkey (prior to September 16) via email in order to keep your scheduled appointment. All appointments made that do not comply with established medical/security protocols will be canceled due to health and safety concerns connected to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

      Yours sincerely,

      Immigrant Visa Unit"

Sevgilerimle...
