Merhaba I-824 formunu ne için göndermemiz gerektiğini anlamadım. Ben US Vatandaşıyım ve Türkiye de eşinle evlendim ve eşimde Türk vatandaşı. USA de hiç bulunmadı. Eşime I-130 a başvurdum benimle USA ye yerleşebilmesi için. İşlemler uzun sürdüğü için expedite request ettim çünkü USA de okuyan oğlum var. Bir an önce bir araya gelip hayatımızı düzene sokmak istediğimiz için. Dün expedite requesting ile ilgili bir email geldi 30 gün içinde döneceklerine dair. Ama emailin bir bölümünde şöyle yazıyordu.
“ However, in order for USCIS to resend an Approval Notice on OFFICIAL I-797 PAPER that was not returned to our offices, it is necessary to complete a Form I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition, along with the correct fees and original signature. When requesting a duplicate approval notice, please be sure to fill in your receipt number in Part 3, Other Information, Question 1 of Form I-824. After the application is complete, please file it according to the filing instructions listed under Form I-824 at www.uscis.gov. A replacement Employment Authorization Document (EAD) card, Permanent Resident Card, travel document or any other USCIS authorization document will not accompany the duplicate approval notice.

I-824 formunu doldurmalımıyım anlamadım. Çünkü eşim de bende Türkiye deyiz ve ben Türkiye den başvurdum, ama benim residence adresim halen California. Kafam karıştı. 🤔

@crazycells Merhabalar eşim Amerika'da bulunurken i-130a formunu doldurarak başvuru yaptı. Başvuru tarihimiz 28.02.2023 idi. 26.03.2024 tarihinde uscısden onaylandığına dair mektubu geldi. Fakat mektupta ''The above petition has been approved. However, you indicated on the petition that the beneficiary intends to apply for an immigrant visa abroad at a U.S. Embassy or a U.S. Consulate and will also apply for adjustment of status in the United States. Since you have indicated both options, USCIS has retained the petition.'' şeklinde bir durum yazıyor. ı-824 formunu doldurmamız gerektiğini söylüyor. Böyle bir durumla karşılaşan birileri var mı ? Formu posta ile gönderilip 460 dolara yakında bir ücret istiyorlar.

Teşekkürler . Sizin vize durumunuz F2a ve ı 824 formunu gönderdikten sonra onay süreci 4 ay sürmüş cr1 vize türü içinde süreç benzer midir? takip ettiğim kadarıyla çok daha uzun sürenler süreçlerde varmış

@side vatandaş eşi olduğunuz için sizin daha hızlı sürer diye düşünüyorum ama şuan ki I-824 form süresi ne kadar bilmiyorum benim zamanım da max 5 buçuk aya cevap veriyorlardı o form için şuan süresi nedir bilmiyorum
