Further instructions regarding the status of your visa case are detailed below.

Processing Completed

We are pleased to inform you that the administrative processing for your case is completed. You do not need to check our website, as this email has the most current information on your case.

IMPORTANT: Please note that derivative applicants cannot be issued a visa before their principal applicants' administrative processing is complete.

All applicants should send us their passports and required documents via the Turkish postal service (PTT).

Applicants whose status is marked "Processing Completed" or "Ready" are encouraged to send in their documents to the Embassy at least two weeks prior to their processing expiration date. Applicants with "Processing Pending" or other statuses should not send in their passports and should not come to the Embassy. Applicants whose case processing is pending may check their status at the "Status Check" link below.

After your documents are received, a consular officer will review your case to ensure each applicant meets eligibility and admissibility criteria. If everything is in order, your visa packet will be prepared and sent to the PTT office which you chose. If additional work is needed for your case, your passport(s) will be returned to the PTT office with an explanation. In most cases, you will receive a decision five work days after your submission.

Applicants who were under 14 years of age at the time of interview, who reach their fourteenth birthday while their parent's case was undergoing administrative processing must return to the Embassy to provide fingerprints.

Prior to sending your documents to the Embassy, each applicant should do the following:

1. Print out one copy of this email.

2. Send a valid passport. If your passport is expired or has less than 7-month validity, please send a scanned copy of your new passport's bio page immediately via email at https://tr.usembassy.gov/visas/contact-immigrant-visa-section/. This is necessary to avoid possible delays in your visa process.

3. Register with PTT. Each family member applying for a visa needs to register their pickup location individually with the Turkish postal service (PTT), and to provide a copy of their registration to the Embassy. This registration must be completed every time applicants bring passports and documents to the Immigrant Visa Unit. To register, please click on the Courier Info link or call +90 850 390 2884 from Turkey or (703) 520-2490 from the United States.

4. Confirm medical clearance validity. Immigration/refugee medical examinations are valid for 6 months or less. The validity of your immigrant visa will be limited to match the validity of your medical clearance. If your medical report has expired, or will expire before you intend to arrive in the United States, you are required to renew your medical examination and to submit an updated medical report to our office. Please do not send us a copy of your x-ray results.

5. Send any other documents that were requested by a consular officer.

If the passport information you have provided on your DS-260/160 form changes at any stage of the process after your interview, you must inform us immediately via email at https://tr.usembassy.gov/visas/contact-immigrant-visa-section/. This is necessary to avoid possible delays in your visa process.

@crazycells hocam merhaba, formu gönderdikten sonra otomatik “evrağınız ulaştı” maili geldi.

1. Bu mailden başka bir mail gelecek mi evrağımızın ulaşması ile ilgili?
2. AP durumumuzu kontrol ettiğimiz sayfada kaç gün sonra hala bir değişiklik olmaz ise konsolosluğa mail atmalıyız?

@crazycells hocam, cevaplamamızı istedikleri formda “vizeye başvurduğunuz pasaport hariç başka pasaportlarınız var mı?” Diye bir soru var. 5 sene önce eşimin eski pasaportlarından birisi çalınıyor ve tutanak tutturup yenisi alıyor bundan sıkıntı yok. Formu cevaplarken eski pasaportlarının yanına “geçersiz” diye not düşeceğiz ve çalınan pasaportun yanına “çalındı” diye de not düşeceğiz. Sizce formu konsolosluğu gönderirken yeni bir soruya muhatap kalmamak için tutanağı da gönderelim mi? Ve sizce AP durumunun bu olayla bir ilgisi olabilir. Çünkü biz bundan ziyade Ds260 formunda seyahat ettiğiniz yerler sorusu olmadığı için bu formu doldurmamızı istediklerini düşünüyoruz.

@crazycells sorun zaten bende (talihli) değil eşimde çıktı. Ama benim vizeye de onay vermediler. Soyadımız Özkan.

@Burak-Erdoğan bizim form böyle deği. Bize gelen form konsolosluktan gelen mailin içinden çıktı ve baya word dosyası düz soruları yazmışlar ve kesinlikle değiştirmeyin şablonu falan diyorlar.

@bolatmali valla biz de anlamadık bu nasıl iş. Formu gönderip olacakları göreceğiz

Your visa case has been refused under Section 221(g) of the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act.

Further administrative processing of your application is required before a decision can be made regarding your eligibility for a visa. Administrative processing, on average takes four months, but we are unable to estimate the amount of time it will take for any particular applicant.

As soon as this processing is completed, the Embassy will send you an email providing further instructions.

Note: If the status of the principal applicant is “pending”, derivatives must need to wait for the principal applicant.

@crazycells Hocam formu doldururken aklımıza bir soru takıldı. Görüş ve öneriniz bizim için çok önemli.
Şimdi bildiğiniz üzere eşimden Ds-5535 formunu doldurmasını istediler. Ve buradaki sorular neredeyse (son 15 yılda seyahat ettiği yerler ve son 5 yıldır kullandıgı iletişim bilgileri hariç) DS-260 formundakilerle aynı. Biz DS-260 formunu doldururken yaşadığınız yerler kısmına atıyorum eşimin 9 ay gibi kısa bir süre için öğrenci evini yazmamıştık (çünkü ikametgahı hiç değişmemişti) Ya da sosyal medya hesaplarından sadece Facebook ve Instagram (yani en çok kullandıkları) bilgilerini verdik. Şimdi DS-5535 formunda bu soruları tekrardan soruyor. Şimdi ikilemde kaldık,

1. Yeni formu doldururken Ds-260 formunda belirtmediğimiz bütün bilgileri bildirelim mi?
2. Eğer bunu yaparsak bu sefer de "kardeşim madem bunlar vardı neden Ds260 formunu eksik doldurdunuz?" derler mi?

Ayrıca formun başında şöyle bir ibare var:

Aside from your name, date of birth, and visa classification, please only provide information not included in your current visa application; for example, if all of your children are listed in your current visa application (Form DS-160 or DS-260), you do not need to list them again

Yani adamlar zaten bizden DS-260 formuna yazmadığımız şeyleri istiyor değil mi?
Ya da şunu mu demek istiyor: benim sana Ds260 formunda sormadığım sorular vardı ( seyahatler ve geçmiş iletişim bilgileri) lütfen bunları cevapla.

4. iran giriş çıkışı yaptığım son 4 senenin hepsinde amerikaya’ da en az iki defa turist vizesi ile giriş çıkış yaptım.
